Sous un soleil radieux et dans un cadre exceptionnel, a eu lieu, ce WE la 29ème Transforestière, raid d'orientation de 2 jours organisé par l’ASUB. Notre club tient à remercier vivement tous les concurrents venus partager ce moment de convivialité sportive. Félicitations à tous ceux qui se sont lancés sur des parcours exigeants.
Nous tenons à présenter nos excuses aux concurrents sur le parcours C pour les imprécisions lors du 2ème jour de course.

Orienteering adventure raid
7 and 8 July 2018
ASUB Orientation invites you to the 29th edition of the Transforestière, its orienteering adventure raid in teams of two.

The race

The Transforestière, in a nutshell, is:

  • An orienteering adventure race in teams of two (or more for hikers) on a weekend, you choose your path between the control points and you wear your backpack.
  • A bivouac tent on Saturday evening, with refreshments and supplies for all participants.
  • The hiking spirit on circuits A and B and on circuits F and G (VTT-O), the competitive spirit on circuits C and D (runners).

Circuits

Circuit Description Distance per day (as the crow flies)
A Hikers (short distance and technically easy, no time control) 10 / 12 km
B Hikers (long distance and technically easy, no time control) 16 / 18 km
C Runners (short distance and technically difficult, time trial) 10 / 12 km
D Runners (long distance and technically difficult, time trial, aimed at experienced competitors) 16 / 18 km
F Mountain bikers (short distance, restricted to roads and paths) 25 km-effort
G Mountain bikers (long distance, restricted to roads and paths) 35 km-effort

Participation fees

Adults (born in 1999 or before) EUR 35 / pers. EUR 40 / pers.

The participation fee includes supplies at the camp Saturday night and Sunday breakfast.

For Circuits C & D, a less than a year old medical certificate allowing orienteering activity must be presented by participants which are not affiliated to one of the following orienteering federations (FRSO/VVO/FFCO/NOLB). Failure to provide such a certificate will restrict the participant to circuits A or B only.
